Mindfulness in your life

Being mindful is focusing on what you are feeling in the moment which can relax your body and mind. Practicing mindfulness in your life can be difficult as you get busy, but here are some ways you can practice mindfulness throughout your day.



You can live in the moment.

Take time to be intentional in everything you do and find pleasure in small activities. For example, if you are driving try putting on your favorite song and enjoy your commute. Being able to enjoy any activity you do can ease stress.


Pay Attention

Be attentive to your environment and enjoy your scenery. Being able to use your 5 senses to absorb your environment can create mindfulness. For example, if you are walking, look at the environment, notice what you are hearing, smell the flowers, and enjoy being at peace.


Appreciate yourself

Be sure to be kind to yourself as you are kind to others! Making sure your needs and feelings are cared for can create mindfulness. Affirm how you are feeling and take a moment to notice what you are feeling. Try giving yourself daily affirmations or journaling down your thoughts and feelings throughout your day!
